  • Dietitians are food and nutrition experts. They obtain a Registered Dietitian (RD) certification after taking a board-certified exam and completing a medical internship. Learn more about what a dietitian can do for you by going to eatright.org. Getting nutrition advice from someone who is unqualified can sometimes be harmful. Why not save time and see the professionals?

  • Diets lacking in nutrients and fiber can have unwanted side effects. Nutrition coaching and planning can help you meet your goals faster by maximizing nutrition.

  • Doctors spend on average only seven minutes in the room with their patients. Dietitians take the time to get to know you. Initial visits are normally between 75-90 minutes long. Follow-ups are about 45-60 minutes.

  • We check insurance benefits for you once the initial visit is scheduled. We accept BCBS, UHC, Aetna, and Cigna. Unfortunately Medicare, Medicaid (Husky), and Tricare either are not allowing RDs in their network, or do not cover nutrition under preventative care.

Medicare note- Nutrition visits ARE NOT covered by Medicare under preventative care, so your secondary insurance will also deny the claim, despite what they may tell you on the phone. Medicare clients can pay out of pocket and submit a superbill to their insurance.

  • You may request that we send your nutrition notes to your healthcare team. We are happy to do this!

  • We offer virtual visits using our secure client virtual platform. You will also have access to our free app with logging, secure messaging, and more! We are currently only offering virtual appointments due to multiple factors. Mostly, this allows us to have a rockstar team of dietitians across the state! Many of our clients enjoy the convenance of virtual visits.
